Genting

Long time since I last blogged…not my fault actually. It’s the notorious SOA actuarial paper that denies me the joy of blogging…haha. Plus, there’s really nothing much to write about the pre-exam life.

Now that I am done with the FM paper, life’s much better. Now I can truly enjoy my holidays without having to worry about anything for the meantime. Finally, a true, stress-free (I’d like to believe so although it’s not) hiatus that will be much treasured by me.

So, let me start with what happens after the exam. We went to Midvalley Megamall to hang out that afternoon. We watched movies, played bowling, and “lepak” around, doing what a standard KL youngster with too much time will do. Then, for the next day, we embarked on a journey which only a masochist will be excited about – that is to Genting. Suffice to say, we had our money well spent. We tried every possible ride we could, attempting hard to push our nerves to the edge. The new spider-man ride was a thriller; after the ride, I finally realized that I’m not the material for superman.

The title says it all...I'm back in Malaysia!!

Toronto - Niagara Falls trip

As usual, the photos will do a greater job in describing my trip. Niagara Falls is a must go!

Bye Winter 2006!

Long time no blogging :P

It felt surreal the moment I finished the final paper of the term; it was as if another chapter of my life had come to a conclusion. There was no time to rest that night. We had to move our stuff to the storage, and I had to start packing my stuff so that they can be moved the very next morning. Pressure had certainly worked wonders, as I managed to put all my belongings in boxes in a mere 8 hours, with sufficient time to watch movies, eat snacks, play games, do laundry, and chat with Joshua and Renjie in between. I slept at 5 in the morning and woke up at 8.30, just in time to do some last-minute packing before it’s time to move my stuff to the storage. Thanks to the help of everyone, we managed to get it done by 12. In no more than 4 hours, we would be en route to Toronto, Canada!!
